Description
A French Régence-style “Boulle”bracket clock. around 1870-1880
Ormolu relief decorated brass dial with enamel cartouch Roman numerals, bell striking movement with anchor escapement fitted in an ormolu mounted in a case “Boulle” veneered. The dome top mounted with a set scrolled foliate mounts, glazed front an sides. The clock is signed Thuret Paris.
The clock is in a perfect condition and the 8-day movement is completely restored.
This very nice clock is 72 cm high, 40 cm wide and 17 cm deep.
