French Lantern-clock, Normandy around 1800.
French lantern-clock from Normandy region called “Demoiselle”, around 1800.
The eight day chain driven lantern-movement is completely restored and in working order. The clock has a bell four the hour striking and a smal bell for the half hour striking.
The pendulum and weights are from the same period. The dial is earthenware.
Height 2.32 m, Depth 30 cm, Weight at the top 51`cm, at the bottom 45 cm.
